          Speed looks right

          Virgin Speed package youll proberly get about

          50 mb :5mb full speed and 1mb upload
          20 mb:2mb full speed and 700 upload
          10 mb:1mb full speed and 400 upload

          Speed test sites

          Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test

          thinkbroadband :: Broadband Speed Test

          Bandwidth Place Speed Test

          if still not happy with the speed
          reset modem and maybe the router to see if thats the main speed given to you by the ISP.

            2225 kbps would be fine if you are downloading a file, but a speedtest should read around 20 mb. File download speed is roughly about 10% of the connection speed.
            I often use the Ubuntu site as it's a good guide and I always get reliable download speeds.
            www.ubuntu.com

            you should get 2mb a second roughly

                        no, it's down to megabits and megabytes, it's how they're marketed. - 20megabits IS 2megabytes
