help needed with acer aspire 5535

looking for help to flash bios on my acer aspire 5535 ive downloaded bios from acer ( its an exe file which has to be run from desktop )
when i run file comes up with message that binary file in laptop is newer than the one im trying to install. on the acer site there is only one bios the one i downloaded
The reason i want to flash bios is that it is possibly corrupt because starting laptop is hit and miss ( crashes on post ) and i get black screen but fan and hard drive still running , i have dealt with the other possible cpu and gpu overheat ( copper shims ) so if anyone can tell me how to flash bios using usb memory stick i would be grateful

You do know if that goes wrong no more laptop,i Would look at a fresh install first and see if anythings changed m8 tbh..............

And if its not making past the power on self test,usually points to the motherboard........

normally id say open the case up and clear it but it's a laptop
you want to use the usb

you will need to make it bootable
