Bought a computer from a storage locker....

I recently purchased a computer out of a storage locker in a sale in my hometown. I posted earlier to retrieve the admin and hdd password. Well the computer booted up but much to my chagrin I am unable to access the computer unless it is in guest mode. Is there anyway to restore it to factory settings or is this just a paperweight? Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to m8 as long as the patition is still there.you will have to google the model number for the answer,and if its not there just do a fresh install SORTED........................

Hirens boot cd has some utilities to remove administrators password they might work, you did'nt say what os is on the laptop
