hi, need some help or advice, ok don't know if this is the rite place to put this post as I cannot find a place on here for printer probs, ok this is wots happened my printer run low on ink so whent to Tesco and bought a re-fill pack which was for my printer canon, so I re filled the ink (black) as was not to botherd about colour, all went fine printed off quite a lot of stuff then it said ink is runnin low so I re filled it as before but now the printer wont work it just says no ink even though I have just re filled it, tried everthing I know but it just says no ink, does anybody know wot the prob could be,,cheers.

couple of things could be the problem here
1 The contact connection strip could be dirty or damaged try cleaning the pins on the printer ink slot and wipe off any dirt around the contacts (baby wipes or rubbing alcohol)
2 Sometimes the cardridge is not designed to be used more than once and will trip and command set by the company to not use that cartridge again
If No.2 is the problem then u will have to replace the cartridge but there might be a little hack/trick to override cartridge command to fool it in to thinking its a new cartridge ( you will have to research that)
but the best work around for that problem is to leave the cartridge in the slot and make a hole in the top and fill it that way without removing it

great m8 got it working again, no 2 override cartridge command using the reset button did the trick..
