If you search hackintosh on Google you will find loads of info on how to get OS-X on a PC. Whether it works or not depends largely on the components and version of OS-X you use.

Personally I wouldn't bother in most cases, same goes for Linux. The range of apps for XP/Vista is unbeatable and I am yet to find an interface that actually speeds up my work. As an IT admin I have put myself through 6 versions of Linux, OS-X, XP, Vista and Windows 7. On a modern PC I would currently be waiting the month or so for Windows 7, especially as it can be bought for just ?45 from Tescos at the moment.
Blackbox DM500 clone, Penta 88 Dish, Technomate motor and a massive headache getting it to play nice.

Read a guide on doing this in about 2005... when apple started to use the intel chips... you could only use certain hardware and even then not everything would work. Its not easy to do, and other than been able to use final cut pro... am not sure its worth the outlay on hardware and time... but thats just me.
