its a very clever product, i love it.. their own help forum is very good. I have only begun to stratch the surface of what it can do and go there to read up for help etc..

btw is it a legit copy, most of the hooky copies have trojans in them....

I did some the other night, set it to make them in the highest quality. I used my old laptop (over 3 years old now) Core2 Duo 2.12 with 2Gb RAM and it took 3 hours, if I do it on a normal quality it wil be about 2 hours...

              Hi Guys,

I am using convertX on my Dell Xps Laptop without any problem at all it converts a full film in 1 hour & burns the film in 15mins and thats on a 2.2ghz (not Dual core) CPU with 2GB ram. best low resource converting software i have ever used.

** If your running it on a laptop make sure your using the correct mains power supply, as in watt(s) mine is 130w psu and i used another psu i had to hand at the time which was a 90w psu & the performace was a nightmare, it took almost 3 & 1/2 hours to convert & burn a full film. but only takes a hour 15mins max with my 130w psu connected, this also applys to new model laptops unless u have a great battery on your laptop then u dont need it

yes think its a performance issue with the desktop, my laptop is as your yours under an hour to convert and about 8-10 min for burning, the same movie (78 minutes) took 1hr 47 min on my desktop 25 to burn so my drive is the problem its a few years old now so time to give it to some child

                  fixed the problem

took out my machine from under the desk to clean opened it up and the fan was caked in dust so cleaned it all off with a paint brush and hey presto convertx back to normal converting at 1.9o speed
