Windows 7 reformat issue

Hi, just reformatted friends pc with windows 7
problem he is having is certain websites ie skysports, bbc iplayer, daily mirror won't load, just get cursor circling
had this problem preformat also and I thought reformat might solve
any ideas

have you got latest flash player installed m8, try another browser firefox etc, does it play youtube ok, if you have another pc laptop try them on the network see if it plays ok on them, you can check your broadband speed on line see what your download speed is, don't know if these will help m8, but may help you eliminate things m8

broadband speed is checked but will try others
