when ive booted up tonight my pc wont recognise portable hard drive. it came up with a usb error. ive rebooted, unplugged it from mains, changed usb port and still nothing. can anyone help out please??

ok do you have some other thing that is usb to plug into that port?if so try it also try your external hard drive on another computer to make sure its ok........................................ well that was a waste of time replying toComment
