    Help E6420 (yes another one...)

    Hello all! I have been using an second-hand E6420 laptop since 2 years until windows decided not to start anymore...No problem, I reinstall and I am good to go...unfortunately there is an admin BIOS PW set by the former owner, fact I was not made aware of at the time...Now, if I want to get back my computer I need this PW...

    My Service Tag is BJVX9S1-1D3B

          Nope..Does not work since a while on many portable PC and notably some Dells...The PW is stored into an EEPROM (used to be a 24C02, on the 6420 it could be a 24C64, this the one I have found on the MB, but I am not sure!)
