    software problem

My laptop is Compaq Presario and the running os is windows vista it gave me a lot of trouble dealing with it so I decided to change it to xp . But there is an installed program that I really need and I don’t have the source to install it again.
Is there any way that I can make another source to install when I setup the new os ?
    Need help plz
