spyware problem

I have windows vista and I ran spybot to clean up my computer.After it was done now my problem is when I get on a website like this one I go to put it on my desktop and now it says application not found.It does this to all that I try to put on my desktop.I never had this problem before.Is there something I should put back on my computer?

any web page you want to go to just put in your browser bookmarks.

Do you mean saving a webpage to your desktop? if you are sure that it's something spybot has deleted you can use system restore to fix the problem, then re scan to see what spybot is removing, if it looks like a part of windows it's wanting to remove then don't let it.

I did the bookmark thing and it worked but I didnt like the way it puts it on the desktop.After I finished with the spybot I deleted it off my computer.Can I still do the system restore

Yes you can still do the restore and all will be as it was before things got fu***d up

system resore ok but anything spybot removed could go back on.

What do I need to do.Do I just put the spybot back on and then go into its restorer

if you do a system restore to get it back to status quo then instead of using spybot to scan your system remove it and use malwarebytes anti malware it will do a similar job and see how it goes from there.
