    microsoft xp

    just been round to the father in laws he has a hooky copy of xp but he is getting plagued by microsoft

    is there a way of validating his copy or a new serial he can use to stop all the pop ups

    of course there is usually requires downloading some sort of patch as for what patch depends on your version of xp best thing to do is google your version with wga (windows genuine advantage)

        each wga patch works with a different version of windows such as sp1 (service pack 1) and sp2 or sp3 under system properties it shows the version at top of page along with service pack version
