Can some guys with the sky netgear black coloured router please go into the router setup page and tell me which version of firmware the router has installed so that we can compare them to mines and make sure i have the latest version, you can check it here >>
i called sky support and they are so ferkin useless its unbelievable,
, they dont even know what version is the latest version,
, useless idiots...
The other question i have is this, have any you fellow adsl users ever noticed at a certain time of day (6am for me), everyday at 6am or 6.02am the internet goes like snails pace, extremely slow, so slow that its just like having an old dial up connection or worse,
, has anyone ever seen that happen ??
fixing it instantly isnt a problem, by simply pulling the power out the router for a few seconds and then plugging back in, after that its back to full speed, or even if you just leave it alone without pulling the power from router it sorts its self out while your away from the computer, strange, eh ??
i dont know if this is a good theory, but could it be something like 100's or 1000's of buisness computers all going online automatically at 6am ? and they cause a massive overload on adsl lines for a second which then in turn has a knock on effect on all the household adsl lines and thats the reason why it sorts its self out (load balancing) if you just give it time ?
