Toshiba laptop

Toshiba ~~~~~ laptop on top of 2 usb ports not working tuned my laptop on to a black screen power button lights up and I can here it underneath when it's powered on its working but just a black screen ?
I have tried pressing the power button down to turn it of then remove battery then holding power button down for 60 secs tried it four times ?
Please can anyone help

It sounds like it could be the screen inverter to me m8...................

It could be the inverter but sounds like the main board is goosed m8

An inverter is about 20,25 quid.If it is the motherboard your guess is as good as mine.................

If it is the motherboard you might as well buy a new lappy imo ..

You say you can hear it,try it in a dark room with the light off.I know it sounds strange but low lighting will help you see the screen,and you may just see it faintly boot up.That was how i sorted mine m8,couldnt see it in day light.Nothing to lose.............................
