lost all my folders

lost all my folders on my email (thunderbird) dont know where they are or how to get them back

ok tried what everyone told me to do ,it didnt work but i went and tried again ,with a few tweaks i had been reading of the night ,not sure if it was what everyone told me or something else i did but they are all back now ,i did uninstall and reinstall ,but that just brought an error saying it was still running ,i deleted a lock file and that stopped that ,i then done a mozback up and hey presto they all came back
