pci express card with usb ports

hi - ive got a laptop, none of the usb ports work because i dropped the laptop and had a usb stick and a nano reciever plugged into them...now the usb 2.0 ports are damsged and dont work...however i have a pci express card slot in the side of the laptop, i seen some pci express cards rthat have two usb 2.0 ports on them that i am hoping i can use because i need usb ports for my work...so how do i powwer this pci express card if none of the original usb ports work?..ta

it must be a shortcut or missing connection on usb connector film cable, if one of usb ports shortcuts it disables all other ports, so you need to fix this issue
