computer stops

hi all i have a it works m-3051 computer when i go to start up the monitor does not come on sometimes if it does start up it will load up ok after mabye 5 10 mins it just stops working any ideas thanks

Sounds like it could be a shagged hard disk, but can you boot it off a CD or floppy disk. If it boots of one of those then you have a chnace of finding out what your problem is. A suite of diags progs would be helpful, have you got a copy of the Hiren CD, its a god send and a must have for such issues.....

where can i get a copy of Hiren CD it does boot up sometimes but after about 5 mins it just stops working

best to search for it google, its normally about 91mb, gives you an iso for you to burn an image to disk...
