    HOME CCTV EMAIL ALERTS

Hi all, not sure if this is the right forum for this but hey here goes.
After a recent burglary at home I have installed a CCTV system around the house. It has the capability to send email alerts whenever the motion detect sensor is tripped.

Try as I may I cannot get the settings right to achieve this. Is there anyone with any knowledge or experience in this field who could help me get this set up correctly? I created a gmail account for the cameras to use. There are several sub categories within the NetService setup that need to be configured. See attached photos. No matter what I try I keep getting the "FAILED TO CONNECT TO SERVER" message when testing the email. (I have starred out the email user names in the photos for privacy for this post. I still get the failed to connect to server error when the correct entries are made)IMG_1684.JPGIMG_1685.JPGIMG_1686.JPGIMG_1687.JPGIMG_1688.JPG

The cameras are Fleureon. I have managed to set up the phone viewer using the xmeye app and this is working great for remote viewing.

last but one screen in post 1. Tick the SSL option. for gmail

DDNS info is incorrect as well, but that won't stop you sending email.

I don't normally paste links, but

Make sure your cctv device can access teh internet, e.g. it's default route needs to be your routers internal IP address and ensure you fill out the nameservers, so it can resolve the name of gmails smtp server.
