    Disc printing..

Anyone know of a decent disc printer? Do I have to have an all-in-one printer, I have looked around on the internet and haven't really found what I want (which is just a basic disc printer, doesn't have to be anything fancy).

Was wondering if any of your could help/recommend or just point me in the right direction?

Also ink wise, does this process use a lot of ink as cartridges can come at a price.

Any response will be much appriciated.

I use an old Canon i865 for this job, ink usage of course depends on the image you wish to put on the disk

i use a canon 1p4200 and its really good on discs

cartridges have all gone up in price no matter which sort you have, if your worried about cost buy a printer which there is compatibles already out for.

remember though with compatibles whilst they work fine they are not for high quality work

I am lucky enough to have a Primera Disc Publisher Pro at work. It's just a inkjet disc printer, great quality but maybe a little on the expensive side.

              Disk printer

I can recomend the epson R285 for printing dvd's. I print about 200 a week with one. Ebay have them for abour ?80 with a CISS system fitted. Also you can now get a new refillable set of cartridges from ebay for les than ?20, these reset themselves when needed without removing them. Ink at my comp shop is only ?5 for 500cl.
I have tested the refillable cartridges on my office HP business inkjet, the work great. Hpoe this helps.
