got a new computer installed win7 everthing look alright. till i tried to get windows updates. just went into a continious loop searching. no updates decided it was a faulty or corrupt instal.l put win 7 cd in pc to do a another install but when i got to language part keyboard stopped working as did the mouse. swapped mouse and keyboard into different usb ports nothing. help cheers.

if you have reinstalled the operating system have you also installed all the necessary drivers for the hardware?sigpicComment

yes all drivers where installed. madas26 i found the solution for me it might work for.you. my pc was hibernating after 30 min, i changed the setting to never hibernate and got all updates. if your on win 7, go to start control panel hardware and sound, then power options, change settings to never this should work, let us know,tiger4Comment
