Just like me if you complain saying that there was no recovery disk given im sure you can shift the blame on them and they will have to make one from an identical model of the laptop like they did me. The laptop doesn't have to be exactly the same just the same series.

Have you got a windows cd m8 ? Can you reinstall the OS. If you've got an old windows 98 disc you can access fdisk from that and reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows. If it's still under warranty m8 i would just take it back an save yourself the hassle.

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

you have a corrupt file thats the reason you are not able to boot.

This issue occurs because the Common Log File System (Clfs.sys) driver does not fix the $TxfLog file when the file is corrupted. In addition to the Stop error message, Windows Vista may not start during startup until the offending disk is removed from the computer

mircosoft are working on the hotfix for the problem there are updates ready for download.

Stop error message when you start a Windows Vista-based computer: "0x0000C1F5"

if you can delete the $TxfLog file and then start the repair section on vista installation disk the system will boot up.

if dont have access to hard drive then try the vista installation disk repair part anyway and other recovery disk methods.

you might need live disks to access the HD

Vista Recovery Disk 32 Bit (Bit Torrent file)

Vista Recovery Disk 64 Bit (Bit Torrent file)

also hirens boot disk 10.0 with keyboard patch

Hiren's Boot CD 10.0 and All Other Versions - HTTP Download

            hope you get it sorted
