have got the following on my pc and have not had any props till now when trying to download ps3 game saves ect i get the following eu-a-zip could not be opened because an unknown error occurred ... what the hell does this mean have installed on my pc winrar and just added 7zip to see if this would help any help would be gratefull

sounds corrupt.
try creating your own zip files and extracting it.
If that works, install CCleaner from Download CCleaner 2.24.1010 - FileHippo.com
clean ALL your temporary files using that program and try again.
Try downloading a zip file from the forum here and check if that is ok.
