    Hi, you can get a VGA to Scart lead that will collect the laptop to the TV but this will only be display & not sound.

    you can get one from here or just search on google.

    [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hama-SCART-To-VGA-cable/dp/B0002W69MY]Hama SCART To VGA cable: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo[/ame]

    Depending on the make of laptop you will need to send the video signal to the vga (blue socket) on the back of the laptop by pressing the

    Fn button + another key.. they all differ depending on make. but you will notice what the other key is as it will either say CRT/ LCD or have a icon of a tv on the key, this will switch the display from the laptop to the TV.

    hope this helps..

          I think that you'll need a 3.5 sound jack to RCA converter.

            If you goto maplins you should be able to get all you need from there, i have twin Phono Jacks on my TV and use a 3.5mm jack adapter like this ...

            3.5mm Jack to 2 x RCA Phono Audio Cable Silver 1m Lead on eBay (end time 31-Oct-09 22:48:38 GMT)

            but thats if your tv has them on the back, & plug the 3.5mm jack direct into the headphone socket of the laptop.

            Good Luck..
