replacing hhd with ssd in new laptop

hi , just a quick one . i am thinking of buying a more up to date laptop, but i intend to remove the hhd drive and replace it with a 450 gig ssd drive , can anyone suggest a good ssd drive maybe coming with the cloning bundle , if anyone has done this maybe a couple of pointers !! thanks dave

All SSD will come with a warrenty and ive had mine in PC now for a while. As you have already said uour going to get a 450gb drive then you must have one in mind?

Personlly, i would NOT clone the original HDD as any errors/Registry errors etc will be 'cloned' onto the new SSD or bloatware from where ever you get it from.

I always do a clean instal and as it will be windows 10 also, the machine should come with a new KEY

Samsung Pro SSD if files are important for You
Do disc check before cloning HDD to SSD
and downgrade to win7 for a while

is that what I would do as win10 is like everything from last 20years.... new operating system is never perfect from beginning

but it's only my opinion, as probably You get 5 different answers from 5 different IT people
