    Nope dont hear no beeps, im not sure there is an on board speaker.

    and the 4 pin plug is plugged in, I need pro help I think either that or a good hammer

      it's a process of elimination, if every other component works with your old dell, then the mobo is faulty, I'd take it back and ask for a refund/replacement.

      My guess is that there's a loose diode or something. Unfortunately the only way to sort this out is to solder every single joint (unless it's obvious by looking which one it is) which would take hours.

        My dad has took it to his work to and IT guru to see if he can sort it.

        Hope he can sort it
