    BIOS PASSWORD???

I have an older Toshiba Laptop (maybe 5 years) and it has started to ask for the BIOS password on boot up. This is not something I have set and have tried all the 'backdoor' passwords. Does anyone know anyway to bypass this?

Sounds a bit tricky though - I had seen this mentioned but not too sure how to do it!

            start with, check battery voltage
set time and date up in bios
or use for a novelty doorstop.

in bios set to 'boot from cd'
