hi ive got vista home premium im just wondering if i would need the full windows 7 package or just the upgrade package and do i need to format vista or can i just put windows 7 over the top of vista thanks

windows 7 upgrade and full version are one in the same, if you are migrating from vista then its a upgrade, if from xp then you use it as clean install as you cannot upgrade from xp.
