this is the reply from someone else who had the same problem
The HDD I guess was an aftermarket one
but I got around that by removing the HDD from
the laptop once I was able to get in the BIOS and
remove the System PW. Then set the admin PW,
reinsert the HDD, go into the BIOS and select the
option to remove the HDD PW.
