I tried this and no luck. The back of the laptop says made in ireland and the keyboard layout is wierd. Y is where Z is and Z is where Y is. There are also some wierd letters on the right side. I tried the pass with an external keyboard, multiple times as well no luck. Any more info needed? Thanks again!

- Bios passwords have 7 characters
- HDD passwords have 11 characters

so you posted now a 8 characters Service Tag that means it shouldn't be for bios but for HDD but where are the missing characters ???
