i thought that only ibm had the secure hardware chip for bios security???
therefor any other lappy all you have to do is take out the battery and bios battery for a few minutes to reset ...or short accross the bios battery ????

just enter 3 wrong passwords and you will see a System disabled message with a number next to it, post here that number and I will help you.
