Thanks, I tried the password you gave me but it didn't work! Is there anything to the number itself that I gave you? Do you need some other number beside the one I gave you? Without the asterisk signs? Is there anything else i can do to get this computer up and running

as long as the asterisks were at the begining and you have typed the letters in their proper case then that would be the correct password.

unfortunately it will only work on the original HDD

if its not original it will have to be connected to another computer and use something like killdisk or hdd unlock software but its something I have never done so can't really advise any further
