Hi There,

My name is goonga69, from not so sunny down (ATM) under Perth Australia. I did come across this site to see if I can resolve my admin password issue on my D630, but have had a ball checking out the KD website.... awesome.

Anyways, I am still having issues with this Bios admin password. Bought two 630s at an auction from an authorised dell repairer but they disabled the HDD as part of the boot sequence, and has a admin password. I think they are trying to make some $$$ from me !!! Not sure if this is what you guys are helping everyone with ??? Anyway the first password given in the previous post didn't work for me, can someone recheck it please ? This is the info I pulled from the Dell config checker :

Service Tag 5QP2T1S
Express Service Code 12498153616

From the bios there was another code 5QP2T1S-595B

you have been given the correct password for that service tag

remembering that the service tag and password are case sensitive
