yes its the master password for getting into BIOS
it is also initially the Admin password but once changed by user it will no longer work

Hello, i just bought an old Dell D620 but in the bios i can't change the bootsequence (i know i can press F12 at boot but prefer to make the bios setting)

And maybe i can also not flash my bios because of not having this password either?)
