it should do, bit slow though, how big is your hdd

you will find it will get slower as you use it. i would suggest upgrading your ram and hdd, but only when you are used to the software

cheers dc, thats put me off that 1 then, aint realy got money to spend after the purchase of the lappy, lappy is for me dad for xmas and was gonna purchase it from the catalouge as i dont have the cash to pay up front ,

thats what it says on the box, but trust me, you need more. if you make all the sounds yourself, you need to save them. if you buy sample dics you have to save the ones you use. depends what kind of musice but i would say any where between 15- 30 tracks.
