dell master password

there is a dos based program that will gen. the master password based on the code u gave. google master password for dells. removing the battery will not remove it. and there is no other way around it short of getting a new mobo.

Thanks smoggy. That gets me to the next step. Now it wants a HHD password. I can tap Enter a few times and get into Setup and i was able to kill the bios password. Can't see any option to reset/blank the HHD password. Is there a master for #***5LX0ARN4-595B?

our elementary school got some Dell D520 from a local company for free. Three of them has a bios password:

87KXT2J-595B
8VPW23J-595B
3VPW23J-595B

I really hope someone can help me please. I have a Dell Latitude D520 laptop. It's asking me for the administrator password.

When I switch it on it says "this computer system #2Z1P83J-595B is protected by a password authentication system..."

Is there a way to generate the correct password using the above number?

Also, if it is possible to provide a successful password, am I likely to need another password to get in any further?
