internet explorer not working

hi please help
every half a hour i get a error messge saying my internet explorer is not working serching for soulotion then asks me to click close program even when i am not using it please can someone tell me what i have done and how i can fix it

use firefox,opera etc anything but ie which at the best of times is unstable.
if it keeps opening automatically i do a scan for malware.

I downloaded firefox but I cant seem to remove ie8, can remove the update but the program stays on there along with the error messge

yep bet you updated to IE8 like above get rid get firefox and down grade back to ie 7 if you want but firefox is the best and fast
