Hello, get cmos checksum error on boot press f1 to continue or del to enter setup checked bios reset clock ,changed battery stripped pc back to bare bones. still same massage if reset cmos which i needed to do to get pc to boot lost date and time in bios again . but just found if iboot up windows i can get the system to post and start normally if i press reset button , but does not always work first time,any ideas .

Hello, can only boot pc by pressing reset botton, changed battery stripped pc to bare bones to see if any fault of graphic card, ram ect. wondering if it could be power supply, can anyone help. -

try takin a memory stick out and test it. then swap them round to test. always use the slot closest to the prossesor. and another thing to try. check the wire(sata or ide) to the hdd. this can cause issus like this tooWavefield Ds 55cm at 13E 19E and 28E receiving everything out there on 2 dm800hd

changed psu, checked cmos jumper thats ok.do you think it could be conecting wires from mainboard to on button on front of tower. but when does boot get the one beep and loads windows no probs.Last edited by spondulick; 17 December, 2009, 16:59.Comment
