    Windows 7 product key

Ah haaa....it's not what you think...hehe!

I've just bought a new laptop and it has Windows 7 Home Premium installed. If I were to install the same version of windows on my desktop and use the same serial, would both machines work ok? Does Windows 7 have security measures to know that it's a duplicate product key?

    Cheers!

Guess that if your laptop's license is an OEM ,
you'r not be able to install it on your desktop anyway (if not same Brand) with same License key

                  THE TRUTH
                  The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

m$ store's all comps activated and resgisterd with that key

you can install and use that key on upto about 5pcs i think it is

they will tell you its for your current pc shasis only but ,u can get away with using about 5 times before they stop u using to activate other installs

u will know when it happens because it will say activation failed

ive never had any problems i done those kind of things loads of time on personal pcs ,
                          never had any keys revoked
i will say that its against ms policy's ,
as long as ur not using 1 key in mass and only on 2or 3 personal comps u will be fine
try it what's the worse that could happen?

It will stop you using the OS . I done it with xp a while back had it on me pc and 2 lappys. It was fine until i gave my bro a copy. I don't know if he gave it to someone who gave it to someone else . But after a while i got a message saying the serial had been used on a multiple pc's or words to that affect, and it said contact microsoft
