IBM X60 tablet laptop my internal cmos battery went low now the laptop wont recognize the bioes password anymore very strange cant login to supervisor or bioes

any laptops expert any help password is 100 correct just used laptop 3 days ago any help .

So, at a guess, you have replaced the battery and now you get the error?

Laptop came up error 0271 check time and date settings then came up default cmos setting enabled can't log on to bios or supervisor logon will order a new cmos battery and see

if it makes any difference I can t believe this I thought the purpose of the bios the password should not be wiped will put a new cmos and see what happens next.
