wireless adaptor not wrking prop

ok a while ago i bought a belkin wireless g pci card i had not trouble with it at all. My hard drive messed up so i bought another one reinstalled windows etc. now if i try to connect to the internet using the pci card it will work for browsing web pages but if i stream to ps3 or download my internet connection stops working and i have to refresh it then it works for a couple of minutes and goes again i have installed all driver and software i got xp media centre and o2 wirless router II anyone any ideas on what culd be up cheers

could be the adapter is powering down, this is for power saving, make sure its on constantly wake, you'll find these settings in the hardware manager under the wireless card
