driver repair update
click on start then go to controle panel, if you are using xp then double click on system then click on the tab called hardware in there you will see device manager click on that, in there you will see a drop dop down option to your dvd/cd rom drive right click over the dvd/cd rom drive and select update then follow the instructions. Bare in mind to select the look online for update option when it appears. Hope this helps.

if that doesn't work, select the remove this piece of hardware option, then rescan for hardware changes. This should pick it up and install it automatically. DVD drives dont need specialst drivers, they use the standard windows drivers. The only exception being for Lightscribe.click on start then go to controle panel, if you are using xp then double click on system then click on the tab called hardware in there you will see device manager click on that, in there you will see a drop dop down option to your dvd/cd rom drive right click over the dvd/cd rom drive and select update then follow the instructions. Bare in mind to select the look online for update option when it appears. Hope this helps.
