    Can someone help me please

I hope someone can help me please!
I have a programme installed that I have been using for sometime but today every time I open it AVG reports
"Multiple threat detection" "Runtime packed themida"
Has anyone any idea what it is and more importantly how do I remove it? I have tried using AVG 9.0 but it's still there.
Hope I've explained myself properly, thanks in advance.

Just in case anyne else gets this problem
I think I may have found the problem/solution, been on AVG's website & it seems they know about it and quote:
"please be informed that AVG detection "runtime compression themida" occurred during last days (today) will be removed (false positive detection) with next virus database update"

Hope this helps any members with AVG installed.

I cannot understand what that message means, but
avg on my pc's could not remove some viruses I had, so try avast that is better than one you have, is it also free as avg and can handle better some situations

Could be malware. I'd download malwarebytes & Avast Home. Find it better that AVG
