    PC Problems

When starting PC it defaults to screen asking me to press F1 to continue or F2 which brings up a load of options to set up PC.
I am wanting my PC to start up going directly to windows.
Can anyone advise me on how to set this up?
    Cheers

Is your PC showing any error message? Normally you only get this sort of message when there is an error (keyboard not connected) or something has changed (more memory added). As a quick fix go into the setup, and then select Save and Exit - if you still get "press F1 etc." then there is a chance that the CMOS battery is flat and needs replaced (hence the reason the BIOS settings aren't being saved).

    Cheers,

your bios battery might need changing, every time your booting the bios settings are being reset

have you installed any new hardware,
sometimes new drivers cause probs. if available choose "last good config' that worked

what he said. sounds like the BIOS keeps loosing it's settings.

go into the BIOS, loads defaults, save settings and exit. if not, make a note of the error messge. it'll be telling you something
