becrypt encrypted hdd

Hi,

got an old laptop for testing, however hdd is encrypted with Becrypt. Removing disk and formatting externally has made little difference. Do I need to perform low level format or just swap the drive?

As it emerged there was no way to recover the content. Taking hdd into another PC format is successful.

If you don't need any data you can use dariks boot and nuke to write 0s to the whole drive
