    netgear wireless router

    hi all, since i installed a netgear router model
    wgr614 v9
    my bit torrent status light only goes to yellow and not the usual green ? can some 1 tell me how to config it . not sure if its the firewall or something to do with port fowarding

      hi maca58.
      im having problems with stage 3. cant seam to get it to work .do i put my ip address or the one it states. also do i have to put http and www. ?

          the router login paage are different for every manufacturer. netgear usually use: http://www.routerlogin.net
          http://www.facebook.com/BoycottFIFASponsors

            click start > run > cmd > ipconfig /all

            Now look for default gateway... This is the IP address for your router

            Open your browser and tap in the ip address.

            you will now get a pop up asking for username and password.

            and yes the reason u have a Nat error is because you have not forwarded your Ports correctly and also if i was you i would use Utorrent mate as that has a port checker.. which means that it will tell you wether they been forwarded correctly or not.

              netgear login

              to be able to use routerlogin.net the companion software has to be installed.

              ipconfig/all in cmd. whatever the gateway ip i.e 192.168.0.1

              type it to your browser. you should be able to login to your config page using default username and password.
