probs with dvd drive

my mother in laws lappy will not reconise the dvd drive ive tried to update driver uninstall and reinstall still nowt ,,,,its a aceraspire 5610

google for new firmware for your DVD player , might be some up to date firmware to flash it

ok all sorted,,, because a coudnt use the dvd drive, a just used ma 4 gig sd card out ma camera fired windows 7 on it and used the card slot on the lappy n bobs yer auntie,, up n running again
