Best place to get drivers?

Hi folks just formatted a laptop yet it came with no disc wher would I get drivers from. Such as: bus,Ethernet and video , controler drivers? Thnx

Best place is usually laptop manufacturers support site although the operating system you install (WinXP, Win7 at least) will install generic drivers.

Hey up Mickey... hope you dont mind me jumping in here, I have my daughters to sort out. here wifi aint working, think its the slot rather than the pcmcia card.

Mine is a gericom webboy lappy, and I cant find bugger all for it.. any info, especially for wifi would be good.

@xant. Lol maybe just a loose wire on card, could of popped off? Open see if still connected.

Your right mate it is one you get with a phone contract, my sister in law ~~~~ed it up,, but there are no discs. Really I need vista but I have put xp on.

I take it you have an operating system install disk?

Sometimes laptop manufacturers tweak drivers for their particular needs and the generic device drivers may not work properly.

Yes I have xp os disc which I have put on but it was vista originally ,which I have the serial number for but will still need the drivers for the things mentioned..... Thnx guys

then get a vista basic download os. N I am rockin

I am not familiar with this brand but you may find something here:

Unfortunately the site seems to be German only but I think you may find driver downloads by clicking on "Info & Support" tab then "Trieber Download" in menu at left.
