reformating

hi im going to reinstall winxp was wondering what i can put om my other drive ie programs/my documents etc so as to keep my c drive from clogging up and running smoother im just a newbie so need all the help i can get thanks for any help kirriejim

backup anything important like documents music or any kind of user data anything like that on the drive.
programs no point because they wont work if you copy them they need numerous files to work like registry
files better to reformat then reinstall the programs make sure you have any saved files from the
programs though before formatting.

use your c drive for your o/s then your other drive for storage documents etc. then if you need to reformat in future your second drive will be unafected.
