xvid to dvd

hi guys, ive downloaded AVATAR.2009.DVDSCR.XviD.AC3-ViSiON. i want to write the movie to a standard dvd to play on a standard dvd player. i only have some standard programs on my laptop and dont know how to do it. also when i try to write the movie to a dvd in windows dvd maker it says the movie is 6 mins to long for the disk. could someone tel me how to change the size of the movie and to write it to a dvd to play on a dvd player. many thanks.

Try ConvertX to DVD, decent program and simple to use, you should be able to find it from various sites
