    EPSON INK

Hi i wrote a wee while back asking if any one could help me out with an ink problem,i did get a reply which i have tried but still get the same problem, Iam using a Epson sx1100 printer and it will not allow me to use compatible inks,A good member told me what to do in short it was to let the printer move into the changing position unplug the power at the back of the printer ,remove the original cartrage, replace it with the compatable, then put the power back on, This is supose to trick the printer into thinking that the origional epson cartrige is still in it and you can carry on printing, I have tried this and it still says that it cant recognise the cartridge and wont let me print anything.Any suggestions

Wish I could help ya mate, rip off bassads, the printer companies. Many a time cheaper to buy a new printer than re-fill with original inks.
My Epson RX600 costs ?72 to refill the 6 inks with Original... I got 6 inks for 6 quid on the carboot and they work fine...
Originally mine came up with a warning saying the warranty would void as it detected non original inks, but now it just accepts it.. mind its about 6 yr old now tho.
Hope you find a solution m8.

Hi This has an ink level chip on it. You can buy for about ?5.00 a thing that resets these. The cheap ink co. sell them. Rip off Britain as says on other post. It can be cheaper to buy a new printer.
